Applicants are invited to apply for 130 fully-funded Clarendon Scholarships at University of Oxford for the academic year 2019-2020. These scholarships are available for the international students to pursue full or part-time masters or DPhil program.
Clarendon Scholarships aim to give the most academically-able students not only the life-changing opportunity to study at Oxford but also the chance to form lasting social, academic and professional networks.
With over 400 current scholars from around 70 different nations, Clarendon is one of the biggest graduate scholarship communities at Oxford, and one of the most lively.
These scholarships are available to pursue full or part-time master or DPhil program.

Number of Scholarships
This unique scheme offers around 130 new, fully-funded scholarships each year.
- All Clarendon scholarships cover tuition and college fees in full.
- Scholars on a full-time course receive a generous annual grant for living costs, which is normally sufficient to cover the living costs of a single student living in Oxford.

English Language Requirements
Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
By applying for graduate study you will automatically be considered for a Clarendon Scholarship. You do not need to submit any additional documents specifically for the Clarendon Scholarships and there is no separate scholarship application form. You must apply by your course’s January deadline in order to be considered. Information about deadlines is available on the Course pages.
